Madonna Letterman 1994 Scandalous Interview
Here's the famous/infamous David Letterman interview from the early 90s.
I've always thought of Madonna as pretty much nondrinking, nonsubstance-abusing kinda gal. Suddenly it hit me rewatching this today: she is drunk. Listen to her voice. The normal Madonna has a pretty thin almost nasal tone; this voice, however, is relaxed and projecting, she's speaking from her diaphragm. I'm telling you, she's been drinking. And that explains pretty much everything here.
What shocks me most is how much like Sarah Jessica Parker's ugly sister she looks in this (21 minutes long) broadcast ...

OK the guy's name is Mark McGrath (has anybody anywhere actually heard of this person?, because he's not famous in this centre of the universe) and in this clip he's seriously losing it. Giving everything he shouldn't and nothing that he should. I.e. squaring up to this guy for a fight he knows cannot happen... not without squelamious legal repercussions and the paps basically winning.
